Back in the 1940´s to 1950´s Girard Perregaux supplied several tools, mostly for the US markets then. Due to waterproof watches not being widely spread and fitting in the crystals being a bit tricky, the brand offered special wrenches and sort of a "crystal press" with bits especially made to fit the waterproof models. Using these ensured replacement crystals or case parts to be worked in properly, resulting in a water resistant piece afterwards. A nice example for the brand´s dedication. The latest ones according to the GP forums go back to late 1950´s.
The box/case is in fair condition for it's age.(See the Pics)
There are a few pieces missing, (see the pics)but, still would make a great addition to any watch collection.
I think this tool is getting real hard to find!
